Clear communications is critical to the success of every project and relationship. Through Bleum's international business experience and practices we share a business culture similar to our clients which aids communications. Since Bleum's primary focus is providing offshore services to U.S. and European companies, we work very hard to maintain a high English proficiency throughout our Shanghai development center. An English test is part of our normal recruiting process and we require all new employees to have English skills at a certain level and that all employees in customer facing positions, including project managers and technical leads, to be at an even higher level.

Weekly status reports are submitted to clients and weekly, or more frequent, conference calls are held between the Bleum project team and client representatives to keep the client up to date and address questions and other issues as they come up. Daily communication takes place between the two development teams through a mix of email, phone calls and instant messaging if deemed appropriate. Regular discussions also take place between the executive sponsors from the client and Bleum. Bleum also operates a Polycom video conferencing system which can be used for IP based video conferencing. And Bleum's Quality Management System (QMS) known as Hydra provides clients with a series of dashboards providing real-time visibility into project status.
