At the core of BLEUM's business strategy is its commitment to quality. Every Bleummie holdsdear the principle to exceed the quality expectations of our customers every time. This is embodied by the disciplined execution of BLEUM's quality process called PEARL. This is a lightweight development process which focuses the team on thinking through the problem completely and then implementing correctly the first time.
BLEUM adheres to the goals set forth in the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Although BLEUM is a new company, it uses the same processes that have won CMM Level 3 and 4 certification for the founder, Eric Rongley, in the last two organizations he led. BLEUM has set a goal of achieving CMM make it the first China-based company to attain this level of success. For the customer, this means highly transparent projects that are completed on schedule with extremely low defect rates.
BLEUM's quality process is synthesized from three sources, CMM, Project Management Institute (PMI), and Rational's Unified Process (RUP). Pearl also takes valuable best practices from Extreme Programming and Agile Process. BLEUM mixes these seemingly disparate processes into a coherent and tailorable framework that enables BLEUM developers to execute your project with the precision of a Swiss watch.
