Mobile Wireless - from a software outsourcing perspective
Bleum has experience developing and testing a wide range of mobile and wireless applications. And being based in China, home to the word's largest wireless market, Bleum is able to tap a large and rapidly growing pool of wireless engineering talent.
For the European market, Bleum developed a complete mobile payment system that allowed users to purchase and download digital content, such as ring-tones, icons, and mobile games. The system included a front-end user interface allowing users to browse content sites, download content and complete transactions and a back-end for managing the billing through the user's mobile phone account with their service operator.
Previously, Bleum created a comprehensive mobile conference system for China Mobile, China's largest mobile phone operator. The application included support for a wide range of mobile conference services including local, domestic long distance, international long distance, VoIP calls, SMS use and use of a virtual conference room which Bleum also developed. This system also included a billing system that was responsible for the billing of all mobile conference services. The application was developed in Java and J2EE and deployed on Red Hat Linux and Oracle.
Working with E28, a Motorola spin-off and Asia based manufacturer of wireless handsets, Bleum managed the testing of new Linux based handsets. Responsibilities included documenting requirements, writing test cases, test execution and reporting. All test cases were executed and logged by Bleum software development outsourcing testers and then failed test cases were discussed with E28 engineers.
